Chek Jawa
From Palau Udin visit Chek Jawa with it's marine life. Numbers are controlled to minimise environmental damage and pre booking with National Parks Board Udin Information Kiosk on Palau Udin is needed. (65 6542 4108)

Kusu Island
Kusu Island is famous for it's Chinese Temple, Malay Shrine and turtle sculpture built by two survivors of a shipwreck. The ferry departs from the Sentosa Ferry Terminal.

Pulau Ubin
A rustic contrast from the city where you can cycle around and explore the villages, granite quarries and prawn farms. From Pulau Ubin visit Chek Jawa. A 10 minute journey from Changi Point Jetty. MRT Station Tanah Merah.

Sentosa Island
A very popular leisure and recreation resort 15 minutes from the city centre with beaches and many attractions. The Sky Tower provides views across Singapore or from the Mouth Gallery Viewing Deck of the Merlion. At Fort Silso see the bunkers and passages used during the Second World War. Underwater World is a large oceanarium and includes the night aquarium. Contrast the marine ecosystem with Butterfly Park or perhaps some action on the Flying Trapeze near the beach at Rasa Sentosa Resort. Magical Sentosa is a good way to finish the evening with a display of fire jets, water geysers and animations. Accommodation and spas are available on Sentosa. (1800 736 8672)

St John's Island
Sheltered lagoons make for safe swimming. The ferry goes from the Sentosa Ferry Terminal and stops first at Kusu Island .
